Boeing has had a long-standing partnership with Türkiye for 80 years. As a trusted partner of the Turkish aerospace industry, Boeing supports both airline operators with commercial jets and services, and the government with defense platforms.
Boeing has offices in Ankara and Istanbul, including an Engineering and Technology Center in Istanbul. The company works closely with local industry and has invested $2 billion in supply chain work placement in Türkiye. Boeing programs support nearly 5,000 jobs in the country.
As Boeing expands in Türkiye, the company has established a strategic partnership program called the Boeing-Türkiye National Aerospace Initiative (NAI). As part of this program, Boeing increased its sourcing from the Turkish industry, and opened the Engineering and Technology Center in Istanbul, contributing to the development of indigenous aerospace capabilities in Türkiye.
